On a 'mini shoot' where photos are taken in the studio at Rachelle's home in Chinnor, a session will last for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. For larger groups, booking a longer session is advisable, especially if small children are involved. This ensures that you're not rushed and that there is enough time to photograph all the different groups of people together. A session costs £30 and is the same price for larger groups. There's really nothing to it; you and your family turn up and have some fun.

If you book Rachelle to come to you, on the day of your portrait session Rachelle will arrive at your home and start setting up the studio. This usually takes 15-20 minutes. She will then start with a few relaxed photos of you to give any children a chance to get used to all the equipment. This also gives you the parents the opportunity to have a variety of styles to choose from when looking at the final photos. A typical home portrait session with Rachelle will cost £40 - a fraction of the cost of most other studios.

Wherever you choose to have your photos taken, it's important that you wear the right clothes. You should all feel comfortable and try to avoid blacks and whites. Bright colours or pastel colours work best but try to avoid any clashing colours. For example, pastel blues, pinks and purples work well together.

After your portrait session, Rachelle goes home and checks out your photos. They are then uploaded to a secure section of her website, ready for you to view. You will be given a password which you can pass on to whoever you'd like to see the photos. If you want to buy any of the photos, we can talk about how you would like them presented, where you would like them to go and what size you were thinking of. I can then advise on the media used. For example, you might want a larger print to go on the wall. Sometimes a PhotoBlock can really suit an image so I may suggest that as an alternative to a traditional print. These are only suggestions and you are of course under no obligation to buy anything at all.

If you have any questions or wish to arrange a portrait session, please contact Rachelle.
